Lynne embraced the opportunity to join my “Raw & Unmasked” portrait series, seeking to push past her comfort zone and reconnect with her authentic self. When I inquired whether she viewed herself as average or beautiful, she modestly claimed the former. Yet, in witnessing her radiant joy, all I could perceive was her inherent beauty. For Lynne, true beauty reveals itself while in nature or at the weights of the gym, where she feels most empowered. Encouraging younger women to embrace their authenticity and avoids the mask of makeup, Lynne’s advice echoes her own journey towards self-acceptance.

Throughout our session, she radiated a sense of liberation and youthfulness, and upon viewing her portraits, tears welled in her eyes as she beheld her own striking features. To Lynne, beauty transcends mere physicality; it encompasses acts of kindness and compassion towards others.
