There are many things to think about when preparing for a photoshoot. I want you to look at your images for many years with pride and joy and not see that one thing that sticks out like a sore thumb. Here are a few tips.

Your Face
A week or so before you are due to photographed give a quick boost to your teeth, Crest White-Strips will brighten your smile in 7 days or less.
Plan to exfoliate a couple times before your session with a few days between each treatment, giving yourself a couple days before the photoshoot as well.
If you decide to go all out with a facial, with at home treatment or in a salon, allow enough time for the redness to go away and your skin time to recover. Several days to a week before should be good.
If you have your eyebrows done by a professional have that done a couple days before, however any at home treatment can be done the day before.
Your Hair
Is it time for a trim or to touch up your roots?
Neat healthy hair is youthful and vibrant, even a subtle trim makes a difference.
Color treated hair should be touched up within a week to 3 days before your shoot. This is also not a time for drastic changes.
Deep condition. It does make a difference.

Your Skin
Hair removal can be done the night before if you shave, any other form should be done a few days before, so your skin heals.
If you spray tan on a regular basis, a couple days before should be great. If this is not your thing, I love fair skin and skip the tanning.
Hands
Stick with neatly shaped clear or soft neutral fingertips.
Choose colors that compliment your wardrobe choices.
Clean your wedding ring. If you opt to clean it yourself a toothbrush and toothpaste works great. If you go to a jeweler a sonic cleaner will really make it sparkle.
